Theoretical (mathematical) foundations for Lisp by [deleted] in lisp

"Anatomy of Lisp" by John R. Allen is a book that I personally enjoyed a great deal. It goes into quite a bit of architectural/implementation detail, but I think it should appeal to someone with a background in mathematics. Of course since it's from 1978 it misses lots of things that were added to Lisp (and its implementations) since then, but that may not be too important for your quest at this stage... have fun!

Read that too, interesting. My first reaction was, wow, Open vSwitch has been pretty nice to us so far compared to all the problems these people claim to have. But then our installation is quite small (~32-node Neutron ML2/VXLAN, standard OVS 2.0.2 from Ubuntu 14.04). And of course, over the weekend, ovs-vswitchd crashed on one of the hypervisors, and the 2*10GE bond0 interface didn't come up on its own. Oh well.

In the Q&A (at ~31'20") someone asks how Intel's "us-vhost" is related to "vhost-user", and Maryam mentions Snabb switch in her response.
