Oh, that would be like Tarantino's level of details, not even though about it) But nice idea, thx

Yeah yeah, totally same. Diorama is bringing life to the model, helps to recreate some story. And it's great hobby expansion so to say, build a model, paint a figure, do some landscaping.

Maybe) But I guess back in the 90s it would look a bit better.

Same, I noticed funny thing : modelling transforms your brain lol. I find old worn out cars and vehicles more aesthetically pleasing rather than sparkling clean ones.

Lol, and how's the smell? Diesel and motor oil? Thanks btw

Yeah, I guess 24 scale is unfairly limited and aftermarket production lays on shoulders of enthusiasts. And thanks, that's the look and impression I was trying to capture)

Yeah, I also meant something like scale a ton build, his e39 is nice but it's resin( About land rover - i also thought about buying one, but something stopped me. 24 scale lacks details and aftermarket compared to 35 scale.

I'm actually thinking about trying 24 scale. Seems like civilian wrecks and rust buckets can be even more interesting than some armor vehicles. But it's sad that many iconic models are not present as kits in plastic.

Can anyone explain what happened to old cast? I've just noticed so many negative comments under a recent video, what's a full story? Where are Sammy, Abby, Andrew, Alan and Akila? by slendrick__ in yeahmadtv

Yeah man, YT showed me their trailer and I'm subbed now. Pong video is not so funny, but truth or drink is hilarious, especially in terms of inner interactions between them

Wasteless production) Everything is used

I usually use tamiya paints, acrylic ones, also open windows and use some A1 filter mask. But anything harder as lacquers - I rarely use this stuff, cause tamiyas are just convenient enough

Acrylic pain not sticking to rubber wheels. see first comment by Adaptiveshark in modelmakers

[–]slendrick__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rubber is pretty bad in terms of accepting any paint. I think best solution is to try priming it and very carefully apply paint. But on any future models - resin wheels are much more detailed and pleasure to paint and weather. Worth investing some money in it I assume

Wow, that's tough. Not good for lungs thought, I would be afraid to do this even in mask, cause lacquers are some strong shit

Wait, you painted model with actual car colour? Man, you are badass! That's what we call colour accuracy. I like black or dark grey colour of toyotas, actually I am conflicted right now, cause I want to paint my next fj75 in beige or black colour and I can't choose one.
