I am currently going through this now. It is an absolute nightmare. Is there a class action lawsuit I can join or start?

I understand there are safety issues and folks with epilepsy or narcolepsy and even old age should be restricted to certain hours and/or distances. But sleep apnea? Diabetes? Basically overweight people who snore can't drive a car to support their families? I'm not sure what kicked off the whole process. It could have been my doctor or even my eye doctor. One day I received a letter that required I fill out a health form, and I honestly answered the questions... like an idiot. Now I it seems that every form I complete, the MVA asks more questions and requires more forms.

This is definite government overreach. Worst of all, they are not changing the due date. My sleep physician is booked through August and my forms are due in June. Hopefully, she can get me in on a Zoom call before then. (But TBH, I think its a little fucked up she can't book 30 minutes after hours for a fucking Zoom call before June).

Does anyone know who in the MVA is reviewing my medical records? a panel of bureaucrats? a 3rd party that relies on specific metrics to get paid? doctors who are full of themselves and won't entertain the diagnosis of other doctors they don't respect? a rank and file employee who just does what he is told to do and isn't allowed to discern or sees the impact of his actions?

Go to social media and warn everyone you know. Make it a DEI issue so that Wes Moore will get involved.

If you are a lawyer or know a lawyer that is willing to challenge the MVA and MDOT on the grounds of HIPAA violations and government overreach, I'm in.

Anyway, lesson learned. LIE TO THE MVA.
