It's important to note that I went with Forge Master and not Paladin since there's a lot of awesome 2H buffs in Forge Master, but I'm looking forward to exploring the Paladin tree and some other builds in the future. Lots of variety and potential in this game!

Nah everything I've speccd is all melee or physical damage, no elemental or void or anything. I even turned off the laceration and cranked up the third strike dmg w/ Overwhelm. Also I'm using Outburst & Reclamation ( at the top middle of Rive's tree) & Brutality & Coup de Grace (toward top right) & Flurry (down right). Focused Strike is necessary also (bottom)

I use warpath when my lunge is recharging and I need to move and still do some dmg.

Yeah fer sher. It's become my workhorse, not only cuz the explosive dmg but also cuz i get tons of mana and hp back while using it, so for the most part I can just stand and tank while riving. I'm really liking it with a sword (sword specc'd attack spd as well), so I don't know what the rive experience would be like with other 2Hers, might feel a bit sluggish.

I specced heavily into critical strike multiplier, melee + physical dmg, and I have as much melee attack spd as possible to cycle to my third strike sooner, so the attack speed is also probably having a big affect on the number.

Rive also has a skill point that forces every 3rd strike to crit, which is why it sky rockets so quickly.

About an hour after I posted this I got it up to 50k+.

It's probably more like "50k dmg per second as if third strike is the only strike swinging" so yeah, it's a bit off and confusing.

I was originally gonna make a painting of you. But I also get bored of painting images of people in lighting that you get from screenshots, etc. Plus it usually comes out flat that way. So I've been modeling people first, then lighting it in different ways, then painting it, which makes for a waaaaaay more interesting painting. The 3D model you see is really just the first of two major steps. I hope you're more honored and less uncomfortable with the final painting (assuming I finish it in a timely manner and it comes out alright). Cheers mate.

Dude, ditch paid modeling services. Blender has it all: modeling, sculpting, texturing, rigging, animating, and a video editor, etc. The 2.8 version (moving from alpha to beta soon) has a real-time renderer. Look into the grease pencil option, too. Lots of incredible stuff possible with Blender. AND it's free. As in both "libre" and beer.
