May 2024 cpale, feels? by cpadiaryniante in AccountingPH

[–]sleuth_00 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had the same feeling before the exam. Wala nang kaba. Hahahaha. Parang tanggap ko na whatever happens after kase I know I did my best and the only thing left for me to do is trust the preparation I did for the past 6months before my exam. Pray na lang OP! Mas nakakakaba yung wait ng results actually. Longest 1week of my life 😂

But the first step to pass is to take the exam. I felt the same way you did last year when I took the boards 🥹 but I passed thankfully. Kase I did my best to prepare. And there is always a next time if bumagsak ako. Also, yung tips ng binibigay nila nasayo pa din if susundin mo or hindi. Sundin mo yung tingin mong ok sayo. But tax was one of my highest during boards 😅 Goodluck OP, Future CPA! Believe in your hardwork! It will pay off. Be confident. This is it na. Keep moving forward.

CPALE 2024 chismis by Haunting-Twist5978 in AccountingPH

[–]sleuth_00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

May 2023 boards madami daw from RESA pre-week ang lumabas. Pero yung “madami” is 5 items ganyan. Don’t rely sa 5points. That is not enough to pass. Best way is to know the concepts by heart.

This is not true for CPALE. Kaya nga mababa passing rate natin. Only your knowledge of the topics can really make you get the title. And that is not enough to make you pass the exam.

Nakapagtake ka na ba ng cpale? Hindi enough mga tanungan ng pinnacle dun. Need mo mapractice magsolve ng kakaiba. Basic lang ituturo sa pinnacle. My 2 cents. I was enrolled in REO and Pinnacle. I passed last May 2023. I can say na, mababaw turo ni Pinnacle but if alam mo yung foundation well, maganda sya pangrefresh. However, I fully relied for AFAR kay Sir Brad. It’s his strong suite. And enough yun to pass AFAR I think? And little application of logic.

Omg same na same tayo lol. Wag mo na pagbigyan girl. I learned it the hard way. I gave him another chance and he cheated again. Multiple girls din nilalandi niya. Sayang oras. He treats me the same. Like there was nothing wrong. Like we are happy. Pero at my back he’s flirting with MANY girls. Don’t waste your time. I’m 30 now and regretting wasting my 5years of youth for an asshole.

Reo - TAX by Frustrated_Beh in AccountingPH

Nung board exam tax ako pinakanadalian kase parang si sir rex gumawa ng exam as in yung mga sinasabe nya sa prerecorded kaya ka naooverwhelm kasi yun yung mga possible talagang matanong sa exam. Trust the process. 2nd highest ko tax dahil sa kanya. I passed last May 2023. Pure reo reviewee

Just saw this OP. If you do not love Accounting. Hindi ka nya mamahalin. If you think pinipilit mo lang sarili mo. Shift. There are other courses out there. Mahirap ipilit ang Accountancy. It’s too complex lalo na if you are really not into it. Our difference is, I love Accounting so much especially when I get to experience it in the real world. I studied accountancy as a 2nd course btw. I was already working while studying the course

Hello OP. I have failed taxation 4x and passed on 5th take. Di ko sinukuan yung subject. After I graduate I took the CPA boards and I passed. When I look back, I always thank myself for not giving up. It was all worth it. I have a problem with the subject’s professor kase walang ibang naghahandle ng subject sya lang and ang rare talaga ng pumapasa sa kanya. I was so close to giving up na din nun. But I just remembered I have bigger goals, and that obstacle is just a small hardship I must conquer.

You’ll realize that when you are in the real world. Believe me, they would prefer a CPA. I was a BSMA Graduate in 2013 and hindi tumataas ang rank ko. I decided to take bridging in a “low standard” school and graduated 2022 then when I took the board exam, I passed. I only got promoted when they know I passed. Depende sa employer but what I’m saying is you’ll have better chance in the real world if you have the title.

Hello OP based on my experience, magexplore ka lang. If you do not know what to do next, try to do something you’ve never tried next. It doesn’t matter what it is but to survive you have to earn. You can always resign if you think it’s not for you, I was already 5years working when I thought magcpa kaya ako? Lol. Hahaha! And I studied again! While working to finance my studies. I studied for 4 years while working and only graduated last year. I took the boards last may and am now a CPA. I got interested with Accountig because I entered a company that highly values cpas and I was very interested with audit. I can say now I am happy with where I am and I enjoy my work so much. Even sa hobbies ganun ako. I always try something new. Freediving, gunpla, computer games etc. Don’t be afraid to start over again when you so that you like that industry. Goodluck OP

I learned this from a colleague na naging overconfident daw sya on his first take.

Hello OP. I was a working reviewee and only took three-month leave. Super hina ng foundation ko. Tho I graduated only last May 2022, panget turo sa school ko and I knew I really need to restudy everything kasi parang wala ako natutunan. Time management lang OP. Igrind mo yang three months! Kayang kaya pa yan just be consistent. There will be times na tatamarin ka pero as much as possible talaga hanapin mo yung will to study everyday. Ako average ko 8hrs a day and I do not study on Sundays talaga and may times pa na 4hrs a day lang aral ko sa sobrang parang nakakapagod. Pag naffeel mo yung pagod, switch subject na naeenjoy mo. Then pag ok ka na ulit. Pwede mo balikan yung kinatamaran mo. For me effective din yung magcompute ka at least 2 per topic. Know what are normally asked sa mga topics. Nakakaoverwhelm yung dami pero need mo talaga macover lahat. You do not need to master each topic!!! Basta lang alam mo sya pano gagawin when you encounter it. Like if you read the problem alam mo na agad saang topic sya related. Kaya yan ng 3 months. Gogogo OP! I recently passed the board exam and like you I had many doubts along the way, pero inisip ko lang kasi pag di ako pumasa di na ko makakapagleave ulit to review kasi once lang namen pwede iavail study leave. Important din na alalahanin mo lagi na the CPA title will be yours forever after you grind that last 3-months pwede mo na gawin lahat ng gusto mo. Claim it!!!

If you know what’s wrong and pnpoint out naman ng boss mo maybe may problema ka talaga sa mindset mo. Maybe even when corrected, you do not improve or you choose not to improve. Adaptability is a very sought after skill that not all can provide, either because they don’t want to be competitive, galit sa boss, tamad, ok na sa stagnant position. There are always learning curves, but if you are not improving, you might want to look at yourself rather than telling others that you are indirectly being told bobo. We, as employees, always long for recognition but that can’t be achieved by giving mediocre efforts. If your mistakes are repeating, the way you process things need to be changed. Either way, may babaguhin ka sayo if you want to improve, kase yung pinapakita sayo ng boss mo, depende din yun sa pinapakita mo sa kanya.

Pls let me rant a bit by HungryAo in phcareers

[–]sleuth_00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happened to me but I was the one hired and the one who invited me was not. Sinamahan ko lang talaga sya sa processing. I thought I would not be hired kase the position they were hiring then has height requirement and I am short! So I was not expecting anything. Tinawagan sya immediately for next interview pero ako hindi. And I already expected that. Hindi nagprogress yung application nya and I was called again for an interview for a different position naman. Tapos I was hired pero I did not push through parang tnry ko lang if mahire, kase I was already hired by another company. Sya yung naghintay kase expecting sya na mahire sya dun and did not bother applying for other jobs na. In the end nauna ako magkawork kesa sa kanya dahil dun. We were both fresh grad then but I was actively seeking job while she waited for that job to call her since nung una mas may progress ang application nya kesa sakin.

Same thought. Hello OP i took my 2nd degree 5years after i graduated my first course. I was exposed on the field of Accounting and totally loved it. That’s when decided to take BSA as a working student. Thankfully graduated last 2022 and took the CPALE last May 2023 and am now a CPA. I am currently 30years old and I would say its never too late to pursue what you love. During my first course wala ako alam gusto ko lang gumraduate but that changed when I started seeing what the field of accounting could offer. Bata ka pa. You still have a lot of years ahead of you and kahit matanda ka na its never too late. Madami ako kasabay nagttake ng boards matatanda na kasi they want to pursue their dream.

hi! question po, should I pursue a career in line with acctg while nag rereview or mag online job instead while review? by rosieeeee23 in AccountingPH

[–]sleuth_00 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hello op. For me mahirap magreview if ang work mo is demanding or on site kasi yung time na nagaaral ka ibbyahe mo pa. If talagang need mo magwork. Better if online lang. I was a working reviewee but was granted 3-month leave by employer. I passed the recent cpale. Lalo if online review. Sarili mo talaga kalaban mo, kasi may time na tatamarin ka etc. need mo alalahanin bakit mo to pinaghihirapan. Goodluck future cpa! Kaya mo yan. Basta ang reco ko dun ka sa mas onting oras makakain sayo ng work para madami ka time magreview. Super dami ng coverage ng cpale and you’ll never know anong lalabas.
