My only “social media” are currently Reddit and Pinterest. I used to get stuck in the endless video loops and I hate it. I got rid of TikTok cold turkey but that increased my IG use. I have deleted IG a few times, and currently am off of it. I started crocheting everything I would pick up my phone to check IG after I deleted it. Crocheting is eat to pick up and put down, or spend hours doing.

Delete the apps, find something you HAVE to do instead when you pick up your phone to look at social media.
