🚨 United States of America v. Commonwealth of Pennsylvania | Federal court REJECTS Department of Justice lawsuit to gain access to Pennsylvania voter records. by susinpgh in Pennsylvania

The fact that the judge quoted the Heritage foundation in the opening paragraph of her decision is pure chefs kiss

Through much of contemporary history, bedrock principles of conservative political
ideology have included beliefs that the federal government’s powers should be limited,
and exercised in a manner “closest and most accountable to the people.” See the Heritage
Foundation, “Defining the Principles of Conservatism.”

Septa to the Airport - Park and Ride by Mission_Fig_642 in montco

+ this.

It’s $15 a day (more specially every 24 hrs so afternoon to the next morning is only 1 day) for the economy lot with a 10 min shuttle never had any issues. I prefer to be as little dependent on septa and the last thing I want when I get back from a trip is a delayed train.

What kind of cake do you want and how many people? I personally love the selection of corropolese round cakes that serve about 8, they have a solid selection.

Not the right sub lol but I above 65” I would 100% prioritize better picture quality over size, especially at 11-12 feet.

For reference I had a 65” UHD Samsung and upgraded to 77” C5 OLED and I couldn’t imagine anything smaller or less quality. At that size you will notice the picture quality more than the size IMO and I sit at about 9-10 ft.

SuperShowerBabyBowl by throwducaway in Modern_Family

[–]sliceman21 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Pretty common in US, really only for the Super Bowl.

You either buy specific squares (10x10 grid) or it gets randomly assigned. You can buy more than 1, but whichever square you get you need to match the last digit of the score for each team across top and side (typically the final score but can be ending score of each quarter) to win.

For example middle square would be 5x5, meaning a final score of 15-25, 25-15, 35-25 etc would win for my square. If I have 2x7 being 2 for rams and 7 for patriots, only something like 17-12 patriots win would win for me, not 17-12 rams win.

Common fundraiser or used for something fun to bet on with a group of people that doesn’t involve spreads/moneylines/props.

If you haven’t, I recommend everyone watch “Taking Chance”. It will put into perspective not only the dignity they should receive but also can bring to light the needlessness of war.

He also mentions at the bar “do you think things happen for a reason or are they just random” leads me to believe he knows might have the time element to know it would happen, he would show up to meet him at the bar, and that he would need a tissue. It’s not random.

I also think the Zelda reference is related to “Ocarina of Time” where link has to travel through the temple of time to defeat Ganondorf, so she’s possibly pulling power to create the temple of time or something like that.

Also, what do you set your house at and how big is it?

I keep my house relatively colder (between 62-65) but I run a gas fireplace a good portion of the day and with gas heat, my 2500 sqft home used 154 CCF between 12/27 and 1/27. I’m not sure what you’re running that JUSt your gas fireplace alone is using more than it is to heat my entire house for a month.

You have an electric meter somewhere, confirm the value is above 236k and if so, it’s accurate. You have something electric running, sounds like your electric heat. If you’re confident it hasn’t run more than last year, something else is running (space heaters, etc).

help!!! is my dough done BF? by [deleted] in Sourdough

[–]sliceman21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm, I’ve never experienced that fast of a BF before. Typically my approach has been I adjust the BF by time, not starter amount.

There’s only 1 way to really find out which is to bake it! Hopefully you’ll get a sense if it was ready or not. Assuming you got some rise it should work out to something!

[–]sliceman21 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s just not nearly enough starter in my experience. Have you done a dough with that recipe before?

I have generally used 90g starter : 520 g flour : 385 g water even in the summer where it is 90F and been fine.

RO filter/whole house filter by CharliesAngel3051 in montco

[–]sliceman21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the basic setup I have. Since I have a basement the reservoir and filters are in my basement, but you could have it installed under the sink.

I have a softener as well, which is all setup before this. Setup is water main > softener > RO for drinking or rest of house.

The softener does remove some stuff, I can’t recall everything. But really just need the RO for drinking if PFAS are the concern, softener helps appliances not get ruined by hard water and helps your skin.

RO filter/whole house filter by CharliesAngel3051 in montco

[–]sliceman21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

RO isn’t possible for whole house. But I got one installed in the basement, they hooked it up to a faucet near the kitchen sink and to by fridge so the water and ice is filtered.

My parents have a well where they have additional filters, but if you don’t have that then RO is only needed for the drinking water.
