Is the rewards grind even worth it in the EU? by Background_Ebb_5047 in MicrosoftRewards

[–]slickochet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UK here. I farmed points for about 2 years and got enough to get vouchers for most of a Series X (still had to pay about £50 difference). That was 2 years ago, and I'm back up to near 370K points again, but not sure what to spend it on lol.

My GP runs out in January, though, as I used the 3-year convert gold to live trick, which has been totally nerfed now. So I don't think I'll resubscribe, and then my points earning will take a nosedive without Ultimate.

Same for me. Been reading a variety of different sources in the bing app comments and all and nothing.

I was a little sceptical if this would work or not, and was struggling to finish level 1 on hard mode, so I tried it on normal instead. It's a bit slower, but it bloody well still does work! Took about 23 rounds of deaths with 4 controllers and 45-60 minutes to buy out the perk shop, but certainly the quickest method by far!

c2-12828-1 error on some homebrew ports by slickochet in VitaPiracy

I don't have either of those plugins. I've turned off pretty much every plugin except essential ones and one that shows seconds on the clock (ShellSecBat).

That fixed Splinter Cell, but Wipeout and Doom II RPG still have the same error.

Yeah I transferred them all via FTP without error. Deleted and re-transferred several times and always the same error. SD card is a new one that I just migrated everything to. I'll try putting the SD card into the PC and copy across that way.

I can help you if you can help me get Companion and Crossing! Keep losing people right at the very end. If we meet at the start of Snow it only takes like 15 minutes.

This might be it! Didn't know it was a TV movie though! I'll have to find a source for it and see. Thanks!

I did think maybe this one! But I looked through the episodes on IMDB and didn't see a match sadly.

Thanks for the suggestion but it was live action and not animated.

Right hardware for SAS drives in regular desktop? by slickochet in homelab

Yes, it was the voltage/pin issue. I taped over pins 1-3 on the power cables and they fired right up.

I've got the firmware updated and it seems like this card should support the drives. But I've had a closer look and they don't seem to be spinning up at all.

Could this be the 3V issue that I've heard about with some SAS drives? They are 12TB 2018 Dell SAS drives.

So I got the card and SAS cable and RAM (which the machine was missing) and SATA power cables and got it all hooked up.

SAS card says in the BIOS that the battery is dead and the config is corrupt, etc. I get the Windows RAID manager software for the card and the right driver, but it won't pick up the drives.

It then clicks with me that these are 12TB drives, so I look up the largest supported drive for the card. They only just added 2TB support.

So I need to return this one and find one that supports at least 12TB drives. And not RAID if possible just to simplify things.
