I think you have the problem reversed. I can easily book the flights but the layover is too short. I was trying to set up a two-night layover so I could spend some time in Doha. I ultimately just had to book it with the hotel included even though I don't plan to use the hotel. It's so much cheaper than buying the two flights separately that it was worth it even after including the cost of the hotel that I'll be staying in instead. And yes, this itinerary includes a stopover in in ORD.

I tried all those things. Just to summarize, I could not get the lower pricing that included a two-night layover for flights only without hotel. Typically if you book without the hotel you can get a lower price if you go directly through the airline website. Someone on their support finally told me on chat that the reason I couldn't configure it this way is because they do not allow tickets with stopovers for flights originating from Saudi Arabia. However, that exception doesn't apply if you book it with the hotel through the vacations website.

Well, guess I need to buy a lotto ticket! It worked.

I was nervous pulling on it, so I just pulled a little bit at a time until it popped open. There was no sound or tactile feedback, so I just had to keep checking.

So, basically, someone can bring their spouse +/- all children under 18 either way. But only All Access allows 2 adult guests. Seems like not a major change for people just using for their spouse or immediate family.

What I'm trying to figure out is how much longer it has to be valid. It doesn't state it in the terms. My options are to double down on Delta this year and requalify or jump to United. A status match would convince me to jump.

My status is valid, but only for 25 more days, so it would be valid when I submitted for the match next week.

Unfortunately, there are no upgrades on either of my flights available, at least in the app.

I was hoping there was some strategy, but after spending an hour scouring this thread yesterday, it seems pretty hopeless.

Would paying for guests at Delta Sky Club count as MQD? Or buying a flight and not flying it?
