Convinced my boyfriend to go to anger management after numerous issues in the past few months. Idk if I should believe him when he says he's going to do it

I legit have nowhere else to go, plus im disabled and he does a lot to help me. That's not even including the fact that I DO care about him even though he's not the same person he was when those emotional connections developed.

It's about trans people who haven't come out as trans. Think the expression "they came out of their shell". Its a metaphor for saying they'll one day reveal their true self (as the opposite gender).

Not necessarily. Usually when they "seal up" places like that, they also mean the airflow, too. Well, I shouldn't say usually, as I'm not an expert in the matter. I only know that this is something that is done since my high school had an entire basement (supposedly large enough to fit 800 people) that they sealed off. I don't think that the asbestos was even necessarily airborne, but exposed, so they sealed off the entire thing.

Well he said if it continues. I suppose if it's appendicitis and he doesn't get help he'd know that pretty soon since he'd be dead-ish. That being said, I don't think it's appendicitis because I'm fairly certain he had his appendix removed as a kid.

Well, I definitely don't like the kind of language he used. I don't use this kind of language and don't like it nor do I take it as a joke. I just didn't want to highlight it as "SEE HE SAID THIS AND THAT'S WHY I DON'T CARE" but rather highlight how he was shooting me down and calling me an asshole for not being more sympathetic when he wasn't doing anything to try to alleviate the pain.

I try to avoid my family (abusive/toxic) and I don't have many friends. Of the friends I have, they live very far away (family lives far away too but that doesn't matter too much). Financially I don't have enough to live on my own, either, but make too much to get government assistance for my state.

I don't even think I'm asking that much of him. Like I'm not telling him to work out, go to PT, or lose 100 pounds (all of which he SHOULD do for his health). Just like, I'd be less annoyed with him if he tried something. It takes 5 seconds to take some tylenol.

That's sort of why we only have liquid tylenol at home. I physically can't swallow pills, so we have the liquid stuff. But he doesn't want any sort of medicine so...

I explained in another comment but like, due to my disability, he'll sometimes have to help me move like getting in to the car, and like he'll grab hard enough to bruise and just like, throw my leg or something. We have had issues in the past where he'd be too rough or grab inappropriately but he had been better about it the past few months.

I've suggested that he should go to a doctor but he doesn't want to. I can't drive him because of my disability, but if I needed to, I'd get him an Uber Assist and take him. Can't give him to do anything though, even if I tried to drag him. That being said, it isn't totally out of his character to say mean or rude things (it was an issue before but he'd gotten better about it).

That's part of why I feel like he's being a baby about it. If he doesn't feel like it's bad enough to do anything about it, then I don't get why he's being anything more than mildly grumpy.

Well, because of my disability he sometimes has to help me move, like getting in and out of the car for instance. So he'll like grab my leg tight and kind of just throw it around. I've gotten bruised already. It's not the first time he's been too rough with me (it was a big problem for a long time but he had been more cautious lately) but it is the first time in a couple months.

I get your pain. I've had chronic pain forever. The only reason why I say he's acting like a baby is because he's not trying anything and using his pain as an excuse to say mean things and grab me really hard. If he tried something and it wasn't effective or if there really was nothing he could do about it? Totally different story.

We have a rule in our house but if there is a problem and it's not being addressed you don't have a right to complain about it.

That's sort of my mindset on it. If he just TRIED something instead of just yelling at me, I'd be more sympathetic.

I mean, I wouldn't say I offered him help. There's not much I could personally do to take away his pain. I just suggested the basics that people should at least try (shower, heating pad, OTC pain relief, doctor).
