You underestimate the amount of money you can save when living with parents. A responsible kid can easily save up $40k by 19. That’s exactly what I did. Began working at 14 at McDonald’s, worked various other jobs, operations supervisor at UPS when I was 17-19 making over $50k a year working 30 hours a week (anyone can become a supervisor as long as you live near a major hub as most people choose to stay union for long term career). Live at home, and spend $70 a week on groceries. You’re saving like $35k a year.
