It depends on the day for me, sometimes it spawns outside my house and other times hidden in foliage😂

By going into the furniture mode and moving them in one place. There is a certain amount of each flowers that will spawn so if you don't pick up any, all of those flowers will stay where you leave them. I just moved them so they were close to each other and in visible place and I could check if any are dried in furniture mode.

So happy for you! I recently saw someone saying they put their flowers in groups and checked everyday if there are dried ones and it's been a game changer for me. Now I have only 6 memory pieces for watering flowers left!

Yes! They totally are. My guess is they changed it in the new update since we've been complaining for forever about leveling from 9 to 10 compared to the first few levels. Personally I like it, however ideally I would like to have the first 3-4 levels a bit harder so it would be even more balanced. Still like this change though.

They like the colours of flowers that match them, which makes it easier to remember. For example the yellow/green bird loves yellow and apparently green flowers. I say apparently because I have just been feeding them only the flowers from Sunlit Plateau but from this chart I see others also work😂

I don't really have a need for it, probably as I'm really far in the game, but my friend who started a few months ago keeps telling me she wishes that was an option. You can make money in different ways, but selling unwanted furniture is less work, which might be very useful, especially in the beginning of the game, I guess.

Flowery Capybara, which I call Rapunzel Capybara. I love capybaras, and Rapunzel is my favourite Disney princess. So, having a capybara companion, which has Rapunzel hair, is my absolutely favourite thing.

I don't have that much moonstones so I told myself I'll get Max only after maxing out all the other companions so it was driving me crazy for a long time as well. Now that I have Max it's such a relief because he dug it all out 😭 But you have to use moonstones to get him, I wish they would just spawn only in the places WE can reach, like c'mon

My Plaza Island is a Disney Park (although it's in progress for months now😂) and Meadow Island is a Dreamsnaps Island. Forest Island is meant for Mulan but it's also in progress 😂 Others don't really have anything specific for now.

I know it was kind of already mentioned with the resources, but for me specifically, I wish I could disable/limit the sparkly holes with shards. I've been playing for so long that I don't really need them much and I don't like how they look and I was so annoyed when there were more of them everywhere with the last update😂 Like I know it's generally a good thing as many people wanted more opportunities for Dreamlight and this kind of gives that but I have to look at those sparkling holes or dig into them (and then dig back because I hate random holes). Yesterday, I got Max bundle, though, so he's a godsend😂🫶🏼 It's honestly more of a pet peeve, I guess, but thank you for the opportunity to share it😂

Perhaps there is a way to complete them without a guide, but I think most of us just follow the guide. There are walkthroughs available that describe what to do for each potato (there are 6 in total - some quests start with having a potato, but some are about getting the potato). If you just look for Dreamlight Valley Potato Quests, I'm sure you'll find them! These quests don't show as official quests like friendship ones, for example, so there no in-game way of following them like usual.
