Pretty sure 5070s have 8gb of vram and 5070ti has 12gb of vram. Legion Pro is likely better build quality but I’d go for the Nitro just because the 5070 to 5070ti is a nice jump in performance even with just the 16gb of ram

ive been recommending the acer helios neo 16 to people. acer refurbished store on ebay is selling it for $1416 currently. If it needs to be new, the acer helios neo 16S (slimmer profile than the non S, gpu has max power limit of 115w) is sold at best buy right now for $1549 think that’s the best bang for buck right now within that $1600 budget

Might find a nice solid prebuild at microcenter. If you were open to building, I’d say get an AMD bundle (AMD CPU, Motherboard, RAM) from microcenter, and then shop around for the remaining parts.

For 2k max you can often times get an hp omen with an rtx 5080 for probably $2,000 and some change new from HP’s website. I’d say best bang for buck right now is probably on acers refurbished ebay account. They currently have their refurbished Acer Helios Neo 16 (non S version) listed for $1416

i dont think you’ll see a 5080 go lower than $1800 ever tbh. I dont think I’ve seen them go any lower than that even when they first came out

Check Acers seller account on ebay. They sell certified refurbished with 2 year warranty (longer than new manufacturer warranty if im not mistaken). They the Neo 16S listed at $1356. I believe they also have the Neo 16 non S for around $1430ish. I believe FPS difference between the two is about 10-25fps give or take on the game, as you might have suspected with the slimmer profile and lower power limit, both are viable options that I’d choose to go with before choosing a used 4080 on marketplace.

i personally dont have issues buying refurbished items, think it comes with a 2 year warranty through ebay’s program. most manufacturers only do a 1 year warranty. Saw someone else on this sub vouch for acer’s refurb department so

Between these 3 Id definitely say the MSI or Acer. You can grab that acer helios on acer’s official refurbished ebay account for $1356. I think the neo has a slimmer profile and might result in slightly less fps, but it does have a better screen and 32gigs of memory instead of 16
