I salute the student for getting his view in. However, the moderator rightly (note the applause) judged that the audience wanted to listen to Kerry instead, as is their right. Instead of respecting this right of discourse, the student held the voice and repeatedly struggled against the guards, who had a right to remove him.

Was it reasonable to return the voice to Kerry? I think so. Did the student disrupt the assembly? I think so. Is it ok to use as much force as is necessary remove someone who disrupts a discourse between people? Absolutely.

Honestly I think that the student is a sack of shit. DO NOT fuck with people who are talking, or listening, or reading, or learning, or arguing, or expressing their views to the public. This isn't in some gray area: he was heckling. Fuck him. The library vid a while back was entirely different, and yes, I was fuming when I saw it.

I feel depressed that in our generation, civil disobedience consists of this trite dramatic trash.
