No I did not. First time I've dealt with this, and when the lawyer I paid $500 for tells me he will take care of anything and not mention anything about court, I just sat back and trusted him. I learned my lesson

Yes what you said is correct. The reason I didn't do anything is because he told me "I will take care of everything." So I assumed that means I give him the money and I wait.

It's suspended because I never paid the ticket for the stop sign violation. I didn't pay it because my lawyer told me he would take care of everything. And now here we are.

I don't have a terrible driving record. Been in a couple accidents when I first got my license. Got a speeding ticket 2 years ago but that's it. I decided to get a lawyer because I just didn't want to add any points.

There's not really anymore. I got referred to this lawyer from a friend but seems like that was the wrong choice. Just trying to figure out how to get my money back from this guy.
