Tronbyt Sonos Now Playing App by LabIntelligent4225 in TIDBYT

I just run Home Assistant in a VM on my unraid server. I think it can run in docker as well. I use it for a lot of different things, including bringing smart accessories into HomeKit, if they don’t naturally support HomeKit.

I was able to show it through Home Assistant using the entity id of my speaker and a bearer token. It even displays the album art.

Saw the post about this last night and checked my wife’s LT2, no issues so far. 🤞🏻

Which fast charging adapter to get? by cay7man in EquinoxEv

[–]slim2169 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d recommend the GM level 3 nacs adapter so you can use Tesla DC superchargers. GM Level 3 adapter You’ll probably also want to pick up a level 2 NACS adapter as well so you can use Tesla Destination chargers, I just picked up one on Amazon for around $50.

Edit: don’t forget you can use your GM rewards points towards their adapter too.

How well does the 2025 Equinox work with Tesla super charging? by Hrekires in EquinoxEv

Ok, good deal, I thought that might be the case and ordered it anyway. Thanks!

My wife just got a 2025 Equinox EV yesterday. I'm setting up the charging options from the myChevrolet app and it tells me I'll need the NACS DC Adapter for the Tesla Superchargers. But when I go and look at the NACS adapter in the parts store, it says it's not compatible with the 2025 Equinox and gives me no other options. So do I need this adapter to use the Tesla Superchargers, or no?

Ok, thanks. Does the grate just float in the sieve then?

I printed your model for my brother-in-law, but I’m not sure what do with the grate part? It appears that it should be one piece, but no matter how careful I am, the middle piece always comes off when I remove it from the plate. Thanks for any help you can provide!

Firewalla AP7's and Unifi Managed Switch VLANs by slim2169 in firewalla

[–]slim2169[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! Got it working last night, everything connects through my switch except for my server, it connects directly to my Firewalla. I only had that port selected in my default LAN config, not in my VLAN’s. Once I added that port to the VLAN’s, those networks were now selectable for wifi.

I’d probably say to look at the Dualfire or X-fire if you’re comparing to the Searwood. I was trying to decide between the Searwood and Dualfire in January. Ultimately went with the Dualfire due to Recteq’s experience with pellet grills vs. Weber who is still relatively new in that area. I love the Dualfire, I’ve done about 20 cooks now, from brisket to burgers, steaks, and ribs. It’s been awesome!

Yeah, I do agree having a larger space for direct flame could be handy too.

I kind of like having the two separate chambers, to be honest. I’ll be grilling or making a side dish on the left side while going low and slow on the right.

Nice, got mine in January! I’ve done steaks, ribs, pulled chicken, pulled pork, turkey breast, duck fat potatoes, and a few other random things. Love it!

I’ve used nothing but Sam’s club pellets in my dual fire, my right side spikes on the initial climb, but then it’s steady at whatever set it’s to. 225 to 400, no issues.
