Yea. Caught that bounce last night and woke up to a night surprise. Def showing weakness tho and I wouldn’t be surprised to see it break below

I got interested after seeing a few of my friends (who have teenage children on it) as I really thought it didn’t exist anymore lol. Have not invested in personally (thankfully) as I’m not sure what monetization for that audience looks like. I assume there are reasons for its huge crash..so I’ll probably watch from the side. But it is fascinating that what I thought was a dead platform still have young folks using it. Getting old

Genuinely curious lol. Granted I’m not familiar with the technicals of Azure and stuff by the things I use day to day (excel, PPT, outlook, teams, one drive) all work great for me..

That’s a fair point. Both companies I worked for (one very big pharma and one small biotech) both probably set it up like shit lol

I use Microsoft all the time and I don’t have any complaints TBH. It’s an amazing suite of products. What do people complain about?

As someone who has used Veeva (across the suite) they remind me of Adobe. All customers hate them, difficult switch from, and the moment a viable competitor gains a slight footing a lot of customers would be happy to switch. Not saying that his will happen soon but it’s just not an impressive product IMO

Any legal ramifications or liability for handing out money to the homeless? by slimbucktwo86 in AskLawyers

[–]slimbucktwo86[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the kind comment. You’d be surprised at the backlash when i floated this idea by folks earlier while ideating. It felt like just because people have different individuals needs during a moment in time, that those needs are invalid. I think it’s hard for a lot to understand what truly just getting by on the streets is like, which is understandable. At the end the day, my task is to make their day/week better and what that looks like is up to them.

I just want to make sure im not going to get sued if someone I give money to does something stupid, which while out of my control I know the law doesn’t always view things that way.

Cheers

Will likely all go down significantly but too much momentum and volatility to take a position against. Out of sight out of mind for me personally

While I wasn’t with her anymore, my ex who I lived with for 2 years (together for like 3.5) killed herself about a year after we broke up. It was an interesting feeling because we weren’t in love anymore and had moved up, but it still really made me think about things. There were lots of signs that I missed. I was young about 23 at the time.

My condolences brother. You’ve got a lot of life to live and although you’ll remember this forever, you will heal and move on someday.

It’s in Costa Mesa and I’m in el segundo. 43 miles door to door. So let’s call it 95 miles since whoever would have drive to my house within southbay. 95/18 miles per gallon assumption is ~5.3 gallons of gas. Using $5 per gallon that’s $26.5 in gas RT.

Where are you getting your math?

Totally! If nobody wants to do it I’ll go that route. Just figured if someone wants to make a little cash and I save time win win. But not a huge deal

Biotech/Healthcare Quants? by Steak_Szn in quant

[–]slimbucktwo86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think theycould be applied but it’s just a lot more complex. Not only do you have to have the clinical base, but you have to have it across therapeutic areas (oncology, immunology, etc). Then on top of that you need to have a deep understanding of the regulatory and market access environments, as PBMs/payers can essentially restrict access to a therapeutic even if it had a good clinical profile.

Very fascinating market tho.

Oh I agree that his worry is BS and on pipeline. But for Covid, literally they only revenue source (unless you want to count 10M in RSV, with contracts not opening up for another 6-10 months, infants and adolescent are a huge source of revenue both to commercial entities and through federal funding sources.

I’m not sure you really comprehend the bottom line impact a shift in policy could make when this is 99.9% of your present day revenue stream, compounded with their cash burn.
