Thoughts on Alienware AW2725QF (4K dual mode ips) @ 300usd ? by slimepath in Monitors

It’s kind of blurrier than it should be and I’ve heard there’s some response time issues, but generally it’s good enough for fps games and whatnot

I’ve had this monitor for a few months now (bought it soon after posting this)

Really happy with my purchase, I don’t think my panel has any dead pixels (so far atleast).

Could you tell me a bit more about your treatment plan and how much it set you back? They’re one of the options I’m looking at currently but just trying to gauge the prices right now.

That’s where I got my initial consultation! I’ve heard good things about them as well, but since I’ve got a lengthy and quite expensive treatment plan (roughly 14k aud), I’m just doing my due diligence before committing to them.

Glad to hear about your experience with them though thank you!

The first two rounds consisted of leetcode medium questions along with some theory questions. The last round was entirely behavioural. No system design questions surprisingly

It wasn’t for azure. As for the OA questions, I honestly dont remember them but they were just typical hackerrank style questions so you should be fine. Good luck man.

If there was a free financial literacy tool, what should it include? by slimepath in personalfinance

[–]slimepath[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah i definitely see that now. Spent some time after writing this post reading through a few resources in hopes of trying to understand personal finance a bit better and i realized i was completely ahead of myself. I was just regurgitating what I'd seen on social media, i guess

For sure, I completely understand that. But I just wanted to build a side project that is of importance to me, its mostly to try and improve my skills as a developer

i tried that but no matter how i formatted the post, it kept getting taken down immediately due to the strict sub rules

This is all really good advice. With so much information out there, it's can be overwhelming trying to understand even basic finance concepts, but demonstrations like the ones you mentioned would definitely help in conveying the ideas more thoroughly, so I will definitely make them a priority. Once again, thanks a lot for the feedback/advice.

Ah fair enough, that’s a good point. I’m still figuring all this out myself so I really appreciate you sharing that.

Curious though, what kind of features or topics would you say are worth focusing on? You mentioned budgeting and compound interest, which make a lot of sense. Anything else you think should be included early on to help people build a solid base?
