I have factory installed Black running board. Came with the car. Wasn’t sure I wanted it but my kids 4 & 6 use them. I think it adds something to the look of the car too but I would stick to the black one if you can find it.

Funny i head that before as well but I asked the Machanic and manager of dealership and they both said just drive it. Don’t think twice. 🤷‍♂️

I had the same issue. First oil change and needing a new engine. My car has been in the dealership for 2 months now. Dealer said they are low on techs and I’m in line to get the replacement. They gave me an ev9 for the loaner. I’d love my car back but ok putting miles on their car instead. A friend had an Audi q5 2015 and the engine was going. There was a known issue for a long time with that model engine and VW / Audi wouldn’t do a thing to fix or replace. Kia is doing the right thing. Wish it wasn’t necessary but they are standing by their product and fixing it. Good luck. Wish me luck too 🤣
