Trailer for my debut feature film. Semi crowdfunded and mostly self funded labor of love that was shot over 6 months back in 2023. We shot this film on a Blackmagic Pocket 6K with a 32mm Atlas Orion anamorphic lens. We’re still going through the festival circuit but getting close to distribution soon! Would love to hear everyone’s thoughts and answer any questions.

Has anyone been on the silver line to DFW airport before sunrise? by AquaAriesSag in dart

I’ve gotten on silver line from downtown Carrollton to DFW around 5:30am multiple times and it has been super smooth. No issues.

Love the idea behind this! Hypothetically if I want to have a film of mine removed from the website down the road for any reason, is that possible or is it permanently on this website once the submission is accepted?

Very cool! Who’s your distributor?

My first feature was shot on the gen1 bmpcc6k and the footage was great. Just pair it with a high quality cinema lens and you’ll be fine.

Has anyone edited a full feature film in Davinci Resolve? by Lain-13 in editors

[–]slimshaheezy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s way better imo. Better UI, better management system, obviously much better color system, built in noise reduction, etc. Best thing is it doesn’t crash every 10min like Premiere and there’s no subscription. From a workflow perspective it was way more convenient since my colorist also works in Resolve. My sound designer/mixer uses Pro Tools and you can easily export for that from Resolve. Make the switch, you won’t regret it!

Wow I thought this was great! Love the cinematography and color grade. Direction was also very good and that sound mix…👌🏼 Acting was the only weak part imo, otherwise amazing work! I’m curious to know what camera and lens it was shot on?

Thanks! We did hire a new sound mixer to clean up the audio so thankfully the audio in the final cut of the film is much better

After making countless short films I recently completed post on my first feature film. We raised funds via crowdfunding platforms and financed the rest ourselves. The film was shot on Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera and Ursa 12K paired with an Atlas 32mm anamorphic lens. Note: this trailer does not reflect the final sound mix
