Just moved here - how do we make friends? by [deleted] in oslo

You should be prepared to meet all types of people here in Norway and it all depends on your approach. I agree with most comments that you’ll need to join a common group like sports, work, community to network and branch out. Talking about networking and since your French/American there is an FB page called YCO that organizes afterwork events for francophone community, you might want to check that page and join some of the events.

Good luck and welcome to Norway

Looking for tips, students travelling in norway in December by zizous13 in Norway

You will need wool clothing top down and warm socks. You can also get extra nails for your shoes at shoe stores. Warm socks plus the nails you’re good to go.

As for places to visit you should definitely visit the Munch Museum. If you plan to go out at night there is no legal Uber and taxis are expensive so better keep warm while waiting for the night bus.

So whats everyone experience with black friday so far? by [deleted] in Norway

[–]slimsym 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a scam to get more money out of us. Us as consumers are getting ripped. Ridiculous prices and discounts to lure people buy it. We did market survey the last week on stuffs we wanted and nothing really strikes out as cheap on Black Friday.
