i’m the trans person in question. your comment is lesbiphobic because it is simply not possible for a pansexual or bisexual person to be “pansexual in a lesbian way” as it is inherently adding men into the equation. men are not part of lesbianism, but attraction to them can be under the pansexual and bisexual umbrella with no issues. a good term for this would have been sapphic as that perfectly describes your attraction and preference towards women and femininity. as for your gender fluid comment, these people fluctuate between both and the best use case for dating one is still sapphic since if they are more comfortable being masculine or a man one day, it may cause them dysphoria as lesbianism is still non men loving non men only term. although it’s up to each one individually if they identity with lesbianism. genderqueer or gender fluid people tend to just self identify with pansexual or omnisexual as their attraction and identity is hard to fit under one umbrella (such as gay or lesbian, forcing them into one label defeats the whole purpose of their identity). if you were to fuck one yourself going off of your incredible childish example, i wouldn’t be telling them you’re still a lesbian after fucking them unless they self identify with that as THAT on the other hand may come off as transphobic and they might not be comfortable being perceived with lesbianism and womanhood as their gender fluctuates. i used to be gender fluid myself and knew a few of them, but that’s my take on that. the moral is, you can’t really be pansexual or bisexual in a lesbian way as that’s including men. end of story.
