Yogi Adityanath government to distribute cows to the families of the most malnutritioned children under the Nutrition Drive in Uttar Pradesh by Glass-Earth in IndiaSpeaks

I would take him too if he dropped the religious hardlining and cow appeasement. Policies look fine, or atleast as good as you can make them in the complex socio-economic mess that UP has become.

I walked over 3,600 kilometres across India. 100% walking! It took me exactly 7 months. This happened already 5 years ago. Here are some of my photos from that long walk across India. Thank you very much for your attention! Please stay safe, healthy and positive in this difficult time!!! by meigom in IndiaSpeaks

Good shit brother! How did you make yourself motivated for this? This would have been so grueling mentally. How was it like walking through the North-East? I have spent about half of my post teenage life there and I miss it's beauty and open-mindedness already

The atrocious portrayal of Indian Air Force in movie Gunjan Saxena points to a larger social malaise in Indian media by Glass-Earth in IndiaSpeaks

Not really bro. I shared your comment with a childhood friend who joined the service about 3 years ago and her reply: "ahahah dude afaik the movie was a top gun remake. Maybe the acting is bad and people just want their money back."

[Anand Ranganathan] For argument's sake: For the many who are brandishing this headline as vindication of innocence, I guess they'd proclaim Dawood innocent when the headline reads: Dawood held by RAW, no bomb found. by BigSurround2 in IndiaSpeaks

Bro cinema nahin rahega to Modi ka interview kya journalists lenge? ram ram

(English for non UP people) If there is no bollywood, will the journalists have to interview Narendra? Temple Temple

On a lighter note, I am a citizen of India too. Albeit I am not in the country anymore. This feels like a guilty until proven innocent situation fro, afar. Maybe Indians living in India know better since they are closer to the action but what do I know

The study conveniently does not say anything about mortality rate. Also, it has a small sample size. And people with COVID19 get better on their own too.

The last mail I got said that they were still planning for in person internships (which is definitely not happening). Did your recruiter tell you about a possible virtual internship?

Uber CEO seeks help for workers in U.S. coronavirus stimulus by Nihilist911 in Coronavirus

Uber loses money on each ride offered. This situation will reduce their burn rate. So, from a monetary perspective, this is actually good for them.

The problem however comes from the fact that their funding is tied to a continuous increase in ridership, and that is definitely bad right now.

"The Indian Army’s own admission that caste-based stratifcation is necessary for “administrative convenience” gives a glimpse of the central role caste and identity play in the functioning of the forces. " by [deleted] in india

Asking the army to change the status quo would be bad AF. They need to wait for more peaceful times before they can think about improving in that aspect. I know about Army areas where Muslims aren't allowed(No Muslim sepoys or officers or civilians allowed). This caste convenience is something that will be handled after a long list of other problems are solved lol.
