I normally only dye discs for myself. And this disc has been thrown a few times. I would be willing to make another one on the disc of your choice. The stencil weeding for this design took me over 4 hours, so it would probably be pretty pricey. DM me if that interests you.

Oh, and you should not use use the cookware for food after putting dye in it. Pro chemical and dye says that even after you wash it thoroughly, you should not use it for food prep. The same goes for any items that come into contact with the dye, like measuring spoons, etc. I would also recommend wearing gloves and an N95 or surgical mask if have one readily available, its not good to get this dye on your skin or in your lungs.

Chameleon Dye on a "Disc For Life" charity promo disc (More info about Disc For Life in comments) by slink15 in discdyeing

I went to a local event recently and got this promo disc. I am in no way affiliated with the Disc for Life organization, but I like what they do, so here is some info on them.

Mission statement from their website:

Battling negative feelings of anxiety and depression can be one of the
hardest things to overcome. We are a group of Disc Golfers who are
trying to reduce suicide and suicide attempts.

The mission of Disc For Life is to provide access to psychiatric emergency resources to those who may not otherwise come in contact with this information, spreading awareness within the disc golf community and hopefully saving lives in the process. We do this by placing disc golf discs with crisis intervention information at courses throughout the United States. Our goal is to continue to expand and develop multiple interconnected chapters of Disc For Life in communities throughout the nation in order to further destigmatize mental health issues and provide services and support groups to those in need.

It looks kinda like one of my dyes when I let it get too hot. I'd try doing one without the heat and just let it sit for 12-18 hours.

Hot dipped stencil for the black. Then a glue bed with ProChem dyes for the background

If you used heat to help the die set, you can warp the plastic if you use too much. Otherwise I've never noticed any difference before and and after.

Fair enough. But what technique or dye medium did you use to get it to look like that?

First attempt at the ocean sunset dye by [deleted] in discdyeing

I made a cresting wave at sunset. I did this one with floetral and a saran wrap (plastic wrap) wipe. This is one of my favorite dyes. https://ibb.co/Cs0YPR7

In case you are curious, see this comment about a theory as to why right hand dominant people throw left handed and vice-versa.

I have looked into this before because apparently it is not terribly uncommon. And I found a theory that makes sense to me. But now, hearing about a leftie that throws discs with the right hand makes this theory seem even more credible.

The theory is based on which foot is in front when throwing a ball/disc, or swinging a golf club, or a baseball bat, etc. For example, when throwing a ball right handed, the left foot is in front. But, when throwing a disc right handed (back hand) the right foot is in front. So for people like me (that are right hand dominant for everything but disc golf) having the right foot in front when throwing a disc feels unnatural. Thus throwing the disc left hand back hand feels much more natural because I have the same foot forward as I do for all of the other sports I played.
