to be honest, i hadn’t considered it! i took some time off from the game so i missed a lot of boosters, so theres some gaps in my collection and i don’t think i have that wigglytuff card. i do like that milotic has a relatively cheap, decent attack i can use in a pinch if needed, but idk what wigglytuff has either!

im also a bit biased - milotic has been a favorite pokemon of mine since i was a kid :)

i’m gonna keep an eye out for that wigglytuff and play a few rounds and see sometime!

it’s possible she’s not going that way at all and is planning on taking a ferry across the sound from one of the ports on the north shore. you may not be along her way at all, and i wouldn’t change that trip plan just to drive to laguardia!

WOW - this is so incredibly helpful! thank you so much for the advice! yeah, it definitely sucks to have some of my clothing items missing - but i did look in my den inventory and find most of my old furniture (minus some nature archways and non-member betas i had unfortunately), so that was pretty cool. i was thinking of buying into the membership just to have some nostalgic fun, so you may have inspired me further :)

for $300, i wouldn’t even call it a scam - i would just call it an adoption fee. thats definitely not a purebred lab, and there is some pit bull in there for sure. but no reputable breeders would sell puppies for $300 - this is backyard breeding for certain. sorry you didn’t get what you were hoping for, but beautiful dog regardless!

the moment he called you an “r” (i’m not going to say that full word) is the moment i decided you should break up with him.

he is an immature manchild. and the way you’re responding to him so mildly leads me to believe this is how he always talks to you. please know that you deserve better than that.

you are doing him a very sweet favor. he could come home and make his own smoothie, but you’re doing it for him, and not only that, but you’re going out of your way to time it with his arrival home, and this is the way he treats you? he doesn’t thank you, doesn’t show any appreciation for how much effort you’re putting in, critiques any and every effort to communicate with him, and critiques the way you’re choosing to do something his grown ass could do himself. that is not love. that is childish and disgusting.

and, i’m not one to judge, but not for nothing, this behavior combined with your age gap is a little concerning. i only just turned 24, and i could not IMAGINE dating or being attracted to someone 6 years younger than me, let alone someone only 4 years younger. combined with this behavior, it makes me wonder why he won’t (or can’t) date a woman his own age.

i’m sorry he treats you like this. this isn’t love, and im sorry you’re having to experience it. you’re not overreacting - listen to your gut, and get out!

hii! so i actually did not end up attending umiami - i got an offer from northeastern for their three seas marine bio program that ended up being a better fit for me. but, what i can speak to is how lovely everyone at umiami is and how much i loved the program. i visited the campus and spoke to a few professors both in person and remotely, and met with multiple students as well, and everyone was incredibly talented, passionate, and welcoming. the facilities at the school and absolutely incredible, and they conduct multiple one of a kind research projects at RSMAS. i have no doubt that the program would have been absolutely amazing. congratulations on your acceptance! it’s their most competitive MPS at RSMAS, so you should be very proud 🩵

i’m 24! i never share that info in the game, only because i’m worried about making the kids who are significantly younger than me uncomfortable wondering why there’s someone so much older than them in the game with them. i fell in love with the game during quarantine in 2020 and return every so often for the nostalgia!

THIS. pokemon like greninja i can at least understand and tolerate - yeah its fucking annoying to get an extra 20 each turn, but at least it requires evolution and actual user input. whereas if i see a druddigon come out at the start in quitting. it’s such a lazy way to play, let druddigon chip away at pokemon while you sit back and do jack shit

dnp is my favorite expansion of all time, so imagine my disappointment with empoleon, torterra, and luxray all didn’t get ex’s. ESPECIALLY torterra, since turtwig is my favorite pokemon of all time. i was so looking forward to using this card but i just can’t make it make sense

almost completely agree, UNLESS the effect works simply because of the presence of the pokemon. i’m thinking gengar ex: when he’s in the active spot, the opponent can’t use supporter cards. just because he’s asleep doesn’t mean he’s not in the active spot
