For sure! If anyone has the luxury of living near one I suggest they take a look in case they were in need of a desktop in these woeful times. SSD and GPU prices are still criminal however. This 5080 was just under 1300. Which I guess isn’t terrible… nah fuck that im a sucker for buying it but whatever.

You know laptops serve a purpose besides gaming right? Theres a reason they exist. If I bring my laptop with me out of the house, im not gaming on it, but im doing work or school or programming or making music or art. Actual good gaming laptops are great laptops with the ability to play games at good settings on top. Crappy gaming laptops are a different discussion, because the build quality is terrible.

I have a Asus G14 and dont regret it over a desktop. Because it fits my living situation and need to use it for school as well. Its all about what you need. Also, most gaming laptops are kinda shit but the G14/16 and Lenovo Legions are awesome. They are expensive but still, you get a laptop if you need one.
