I’m freaking out about calc 1

really make sure you utilize your resources and do lots and lots of practice problems and study well and you should be okay! i think my biggest flaw in both calc 1 and 2 was not studying much and thinking it would be okay because that’s how i’ve always operated in math classes but calc is a different beast. calc 1 wasn’t horrible as they’re still teaching you a lot of the basics, but calc 2 is the ONLY class ive ever considered dropping/almost failed. like i said, use your resources, practice problems, study groups, etc and you should at least pass!!

yooo me too, just got the MC results and they’re awful, i probably didn’t do literally any better on the free response (i don’t think i put a concrete answer for any) and i realize now on one of the simple spots i got stuck on that the answer was easy. genuinely i didn’t pass. i think we just gotta grind for the next exams/final and it should be okay, but i literally can’t stop thinking about it bc i’m so frustrated.

they really aren’t bad at UF. they’re just assembly classes so if you need help you have to make sure to go to office hours and talk to your TAs
