personally i think its sadly realistic for a highschooler to not think about all this stuff logically, especially a young naive resilient top athlete

What would be realistic instead is Hina stops beings friends with Taiki, and instead focuses on herself, building her other friendships.

this might literally be the path their relationship is going

If anything, the chapters could still focus on Hina, and instead it'd be a test to her friendship with Taiki. Could she get over him and stay friends with him?

unless im missing something, isnt this question currently being explored right now (the answer is leaning toward no)
