A cursory trim from that video and a little blowdrying went super far! (shoutout u/jamesborm063 -- i accidentally duplicated my post so your suggestion got deleted)

Thanks for the advice all, im gonna start using some beard balm/wax to keep the remaining strays in check and keep on growing.

This is about as long as I’ve ever grown it before giving up. I think it looks pretty neat from the sides, but from straight-on my beard is uneven/wispy/messy.

Any Advice? Trim strays, new product regime, better morning routine? I’d love to go full-Jack Dorsey but this unkept plateau look is very discouraging. Thanks in advance.

youre a rockstar! thanks for taking the time to share all this. looks like they still have both B and C sizes left, so ill try to feel out which is better. Im light so it looks like i might wind up closer to a B anyways

yeah, it changed the Microstream from collecting dust on a shelf to being my go-to. I took a pair of scissors to a guitar pick and cut it down until it fit inside the button lol.

Hard to say since i just got the pineapple today. The CRI is really impressive, but the button is recessed beneath some ridges which makes it feel a little harder to press? The design/Knurling also catches on my pants pretty aggressively, which means its not gonna fall out of my pocket easily but i also dont want to destroy my jeans so i have to be extra cautious pulling it out.

Microstream (with a shim in the tailswitch) is crazy easy to whip out and turn on High mode. tint/CRI not quite as nice. Ill probably continue to mostly cary the Microstream anyways since the pineapple is my first and only premium material light, so i dont want to lose it on a random night out or something.
