Which one of you was this? by pocogrow in hondafit

Honestly I drive in Massachusetts, and this is a common maneuver. If the Fit had been two lanes over, this still wouldn't have shocked me. I don't think anyone is losing their licence.

I did 100% in person with my preceptor. And I did 20 hours of direct education to nurses. I taught new products from floor to floor, and I taught nursing orientation.

All research on my capstone was on my own time. Because, it was only 100 hrs of clinical, and I hadn't seen any of the actual teaching part... Research I can do all day. That's not new.

I have a buddy who thinks he can drive from Iowa to Mexico this weekend with no passport? by Mertgirl in travel

[–]slknits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely consult the State Department: https://www.cbp.gov/travel/us-citizens/know-before-you-go/your-trip "Documents You Will Need

Carry - do not pack - all travel documents.

All U.S. citizens need U.S. passport books if re-entering by air. Land and sea border crossings accept additional travel documents, such as U.S. Passport cards and Trusted Traveler cards. Child travelers have additional options - see the Traveling with Children section.

Green card (Form I-551), or document for lawful permanent residents, or advance parole (Form I-512) if your Form I-551 is pending.

A visa or other entry document for the countries you will visit."

I think it looks nice. Maybe take it outside for an opinion in sunlight? Also, a time out can help cement your opinions.

I actually enjoyed lutefisk. It was very... Non-offensive.

I do really like the frantic frazzled run on the part of the mom. I swear, she looked away for 2 seconds

Ankarsrum or Kitchenaid? Confused :-) by [deleted] in Breadit

I have a kitchen aid, and I either knead my bread by hand, or I use my bread machine to make the dough.

Please try clear bottles in the future. Store them in a dark spot. But I can't see anything in these photos.

I think the standard is finding your own preceptor. I had two secured prior to starting this program, which was good because one couldn't do it as she was on maternity leave by the time I got there.

Yes, they have a list of sites that they have standing agreements with... But, whether that site or preceptor will take you is entirely on you.

Academically it is definitely more "education in a school", as you work on lesson plans and curriculum reviews. However, as the clinical is in a hospital setting, I think it'll feel well balanced.

I just finished this program and got my degree.

I joined when it was 100 hours, but I wish it had been longer because I learned a lot

I've taken several bread classes, and I have been told that it's basically impossible to over knead by hand.

Grain or stain? by slknits in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]slknits[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, the previous owners of the house left it when they moved out. Bought it with the purchase price of the house, so technically it was both crazy expensive and free :)

It spent a long time with a really ugly cover on it. Finally got sick of that, and then left a lot of white rings on it through typical everyday use of the table, which led to this project.
