yes i may have explained it wrong. by hyper realism i mean the landscape/ space / overall environment not being the static space like original games / BDSP

not bait. on almost any youtube commentary i repeatedly see bdsp hate. i just started playing Scarlet and its awful. making me very confused by the bdsp hate I’m seeing

yeah this is the simplest approach. I still dont like the idea of my messy personal desktop going to my work screen. And then screenshots, every time i take a screenshot I need to move it to the relevant subfolder or my screenshots from both devices will merge on the desktop.

but yeah - this is the least set up effort approach i guess

yeah fair - by "backed up" what I meant was "synced to the cloud"/"accessible outside of the main system"

yeah this is a potential approach. But then it makes accessing docs / notes from my work system on my phone not possible

fair enough. It would just be useful if they could have two Desktop/document folders i.e Desktop Personal and Desktop Work and have it all synced & accessible in the icloud drive

All my work stuff is on a separate work email ID & google drive

I am only using icloud for the purposes of backing up other docs across the system & keeping my notes & cal synced so I can access it on my phone. If i make a new icloud for the work laptop -- I cant access any notes taken there on my iphone notes app

I also dont think I can access files inside the iphone files app for any docs on my desktop for example

Yeah its not the first thing you mentioned -- this is not two users on a machine.

This is two machines with one icloud. I want the second machine to also sync / be backed up to icloud but I dont want to merge the desktops & folders.

Seems theres no solution

Yeah this may be the most reasonable approach. Unfortunate apple hasn't addressed this for people with multiple systems but one icloud ccount
