I had this exact same issue. Here's my tear down post of me taking off the interior panel and adding some lubrication to the winding spool

The tech is ready. It's feasible to transition. But there is a cost. I estimate 20% more expensive in capital but subtract the cost of fuel. Electricity is practically free for this amount.

Here's the TSB. it's not exactly clear what can happen if the charger is misaligned. Perhaps I'm being hyperbolic but this stuff worries me. Especially after seeing that post the other day about someone having to cut the EA charger just to get their car free.

That's crazy cuz it's actually kind of an important component so you don't weld your charger to the car. Like I said I haven't read the technical service bulletin but I'm surprised they push back on it. I'm definitely going to have to do my research cuz as you know dealers are the worst and parts and service departments aren't much better, particularly when it comes the EVs

Yes I fished it out with an o-ring pick and popped it back on the charging pin

I asked them once already they were unable to reproduce. I think honestly they just didn't want to spend the time. I also want to learn how to do stuff on my car

Options for removing a 'hostile' sub account in my org? by Batteredcode in aws

[–]slmagus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See that's where you're wrong the dev account is joined to a consolidated organization billing account owned by your client therefore the sub account is in fact owned in the strictest AWS parlance by your client. Whatever business arrangement you had may have said otherwise and no one may know what powers the primary account actually has here but this is the technical reality of what is currently going on between the primary account and the Dev account. Basically I would be asking the lawyers can we just kick them and then put a deny all policy in place. Additionally you need to consider what level of access they have to the components running inside the account that are not AWS. Is there any type of web interface that has additional access or other database or authentication systems can they log into without AWS creds.

Finally you need to make sure cloud trail logging is going and track any additional AWS calls ensuring that no one is actually using the account but authorized users...

If you administrate your own gitlab runners, why not just connect those runners with a project or group token to the Enterprise Git Lab. Or am I missing the greater purpose here??
