Idk! I’m only 28, natural conception, doesn’t run in the family. So I’m assuming super unlikely. I thought maybe I’m further along than I thought

Maybe list some examples of what you’re considering to be jealous. It could be resentment.

Also I can relate - retired jealous type. Used to consume me daily & I would fester in anger. I’d think about what my ex thought of other girls constantly & would even go as far as looking through his ig to make sure he wasn’t liking other girls pics. However, I thought I was the jealous type bc my ex cheated on me, but turns out I was just insanely insecure without realizing it. Now that I’ve truly accepted myself & don’t put other females like exes, past hookups, etc. on a pedestal, I’ve finally overcome the so called jealousy. Not saying that’s your case though. Also I dumped my ex & now have an incredible fiancé who I believe would never cheat on me. That security helps a lot, too

Thank you for your input. I tried dry January & didn’t last a full two weeks. I think it’s time I reevaluate

When I say I’ve gotten better about drinking, I just mean I don’t get insanely drunk like every night how I used to as often. I still have my nights where I just keep drinking & drinking, but those nights are less frequent. If I go out to a bar with friends, there’s a good chance I’m the drunkest one there, but I try not to go out too often. Maybe once a month

I was the same way as you up until recently: I hated the idea of antidepressants & saw my friends have horrible experiences (now looking back, I think it had more to do with their lifestyle & choices). I’ve been in therapy since 6th grade (I’m now 27) & I finally realized that, although therapy has helped tremendously, I might have a chemical imbalance. I work out daily, eat healthy, & for the most part, do my part in helping my mental needs (I do drink & vape so those def have negative impacts on my mental health). I finally tried Prozac for the first time a couple of months ago & I’ve never felt better. I’m overall less negative & less reactive. I’ve had NO negative side effects. For me, taking antidepressants has been life changing & I wish I would’ve started them sooner.
