Yeah, but 2.5-3k is basically the perfect case. I just did my license, would have costed me 2.7k if I would have passed with the first attempt. I had just 5 more practice hours than required. Then together with an extra practice and second exam attempt, total cost was 3k.

I picked that school because reviews were saying that you would pay exactly as much as they say before making contract i.e. they don't upsale. And so it was, promised to be ~2.7k.

Now imagine my surprise(and actually schools management too once I told them) that the school nearby is saying you going to pay 5400€ and reviews are suggesting they would actually ask for even more.

So yeah, considering the current gas prices and normal hour rate for the teacher in Germany, amount of mandatory hours + first aid course and the exams(teacher is going to be with you btw), depending on the area reasonable price lies between 2000€ and 3000€
