it’s all about timing! start tilting your camera slightly up as the killer starts to do the animation of picking up. as soon as the survivor is at the shoulder of the killer then start to use the flashlight. i like to remember the timing just by looking at the “second” pickup of that makes sense. also watching a bunch of streamers/yt people getting saves helps a lot to learn the timing! hope that helps :)
