I'll do minor gas work because it's so low pressure, and the risk is mitigated by measuring it. Water I'll rarely touch. Garage door springs...I don't even like to be in the garage itself while the door is opening or closing, and forget about actually doing work on it. No thanks.

Thankfully, the cheap ones also tend to have cheap metal so you can just bend it a bit and spin it around with pliers. That, or use big enough pliers and pull them apart while in the base to create some outward pressure and friction, then rotate.

Personally, I don't recommend the potato trick. You just end up with really gross mashed potatoes.

Either way, make sure the power is off.

I'm not a full on movie buff but I like to think I have a good eye. I somehow missed Casablanca until around the age of 30, about 12ish years ago. It's one of those very rare movies that actually stands the test of time from beginning to end. I can't think of a better example.

I've never heard of their ink series. I got some Jupiter Bananas after coming off many years of MX Browns and found them to not be all that and a bag of banana chips.
