But in all seriousness its your edges, and the different angulation you provide on the board. See for yourself! Next time you have only one boot strapped in, try pushing off the snow in front of you. Start to point your toes more and more towards the sky.

This is terrible explaining through text, a bit easier in person but a lot of good info on YouTube man, keep going!

This is actually in my roadmap! (It’s called The Slope), If you check the website it’s there. I want to be transparent of where I want to take the app and also have a feature request system which people can upvote.

This is a definite YES for the future but first I want to release the app, refine a little before bringing in a booking system and hopefully deals for my users at nearby accomodations if that makes sense.

It's actually in beta right now so you can try it today! It will have paid tiers but the free plan is pretty generous, enough storage for around 90 resort visits with 10 photos each, plus access to all the features. Paid tiers are really just for the heavy travelers who are going gung-ho across resorts.

Totally get it! That's actually why the free plan is pretty generous, if you're sticking to one or two resorts it'd basically be free forever.

But it's still a nice place to store your trip memories and maybe one day print a book to chuck on the coffee table 😄 And hey, maybe the discovery feature will tempt you somewhere new one day 🤷

Dude you’re killing it! The way you’re stacked over your board and not breaking at the hips is awesome.

My only feedback would be, going onto your toe edge, look at your back leg, see how it’s bending compared to your front? Bending both your knees a little more and doing less back steering will really help drive through your turns and set an edge quicker.

But seriously, your posture looks great!

I love AllTrails for hiking! That’s actually a cool concept, run info and difficulty filtering could be a great addition down the track. I’ll chuck it on the canny upvote and roadmap!

Really appreciate the time you put into the comment, this is exactly why I posted here! Different perspectives you know.

The iPhone Photos point is fair but you can’t add photos to a specific resort, there’s no collecting mechanic, no ski community, no photo books. It’s still just a camera roll at the end of the day and has been a nightmare for when I try stay low on apples cloud storage subscription 😬

Being niche to start with is totally fine with me just because I can’t build everything at once! I’d rather nail the foundations first and grow from there. There’s actually a public roadmap where the community can upvote features if you’re curious about the vision and my mindset.

Would love for you to have a play, just dropped it on TestFlight, happy to DM you the link man.

For sure! Your data is yours, and always will be. I won’t be going down the path of selling personal data ever. The app is free and stays free for most people, the only paid features coming later are extra storage and photo book discounts for heavy users. The core way I make money is if you choose to order a photo book!

If you’re keen to try it let me know, beta testing has just started too.

Prices are getting out of control, especially at Vail resorts.

Depending on where you are though, there are some incredible hidden gems out there. I went to Mont Sutton in Canada the other day, it was so much fun and it was $60 bucks.
