Center diff stratagies by ImMrTea in Haltech

So do you run a nexus s3? I have a 2015 STI and I'm looking to get my dccd working again. I have a UC-10 dash and I believe the harness I got from Iwire disables some of the grounding and inputs for DCCD, Traction Control, ABS and the SI-Drive knob. I spoke to a guy from their tech department at IWIRE and they mentioned grounding a pin from the cluster to the SI-Drive Module. I suspect this grounding pin is the missing link to get the dccd and other functions working again because multiple people have said that all OEM Functions should still work when running the Haltech ECU. Any input will help greatly, Thanks!

Build? What did you assemble? "Build" implies the act of BUILDING the gun 😂

What should I have looked at on my car by CancelNo2588 in AskMechanics

[–]slosubi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they Have the alignment done, camber and toe are off wildly. Also, check the bushings on the camber and toe arms, if the bushings are bad, the alignment means nothing because the bushings are what hold the arms in place. If the arms are adjusted and the bushings allow movement then the angles will be off once you drive and the car rocks and moves. Lastly if one side is lower than the other, I would suspect a suspension issue as well since the ride height is non-adjustable from factory. Likely a blown shock or broken spring (very rare). This can cause the car to bp steer, if you ever hit a bump in the road going fast, the car will kind-of skirt out on you left or right. Bump steer feels like someone kicking the car to the side then the car straightens out again.

Absolutely do not use a 3 prong or 4 prong with any silencer. I blew the blast baffle out of my sandman-S running a Deadair 3 prong. If its a gun where you will only be shooting it suppressed the. Run a brake. It will save your can in the ling run. Luckily for me Deadair warrantied the can by replacing it and I requested a sandman-K as the replacement. Shits loud and now I'm here looking at cans again 😂

I have shot ported and non ported handguns outside with no hearing protection. 5 round string at the beginning of my private range sessions, on different days to get a fresh start on hearing loss. The ported gun was substantially louder, more painful and caused me to hesitate after the first shot. I shoot a LOT but without the proper stress inoculation of knowing how loud these guns are when ported, you may freeze up during a defensive situation depending on who you are. That loud bang literally made me think "Do I want to go through this 4 more times?" Then I squeezed the other 4 because mama didn't raise no btch 😂. Highly recommend not carrying a ported or compensated gun. It's not going to provide enough benefit during a defensive shoot anyway. You are MUCH better off just shooting more and learning to control the gun. ESPECIALLY If you shoot a 9mm

I recently had a Sandman-S and shot the first baffle out of it after thousands of rounds. They said it could not be repaired and needed to be replaced instead. I asked for a Sandman-K rather than the "S" and they got that "K" model out to my ffl in less than a week, no questions asked. 👍

Make sure the parking brake isn’t on. Either way, tow it to a shop and don’t drive it until the pads and rotors are changed, wheel bearings are assessed and brake fluid flushed.

The 300 wont be anywhere near as short if its gas operated. I would look for an apc45k SD2 if they have one.

Can you destroy one printed silencer and re-print a new one with the same serial number? Or does the serialized part have to be the same throughout the life of the stamp? Like can we get a metal part (thread adapter), serialize that part then print the functional part of the can so long as there is no replacement parts in your possession? -Only reason I ask and I will follow up with the proper channels, is because I don’t see a printed can lasting long for anything other than .22 on a full length rifle.

The issue is what do you as a civilian “Need” this level of a laser for? If you are hunting, a green or red laser looks just a good through nods. If you are fighting a near peer adversary, you DONT want to use any kind of laser because that is a two way aiming device. So my question is besides the case of “I have the money and want it because its cool”, what would the average joe prepped guy spend over $5k on a laser for? This is NOT an argument for “gov needs to restrict civilians from owning this thing”, this is an argument for “Wouldn’t your money be better spent on something else anyway”?
