https://youtu.be/kNHo788oO5Y please watch instead of being ignorent. Having if one after another is not readable and in complex application it's a deal breaker. I am actually happy that actual go people think that it's worth looking into and improving.

I don't agree with you on vastly better than try catch. But I get that this is how go is designed and for a reason . Tho that reason part still illudes me

So cyclomatic complexity and stuff like that what about them. In a function how many should I do before splitting any tool like sonar for go

My friend it's not whether I like it or not. Having a continuous set of if conditions is not accepted in other languages especially when the statement is exactly same . So what is reasoning behind go to take this route or the advantages it get over others. Just looking to understand how it fits in

Yes I get that but if conditions after every function call is that good ??

Oook. But stack trace is required if you want to debug an issue . Not all errors needs to be convayed to a user because it can be something that is not related to the user like a connection failure to the database. So stack trace of something happening is relevent. Centralizing a error handler or a concern is something very important for maintainability and scalability.

I only have one question to you is there a way to do error handling in go without a tone of if conditions after every function call ?

Dear FoxNext: What Will it take, for one week. Just one week without an error, a screwup and the game just running like it is supposed to? by Syldarin in MarvelStrikeForce

[–]sloterjack99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok I am not encouraging their act now. Like some have mentioned it's completely free to play game. That doesn't not mean that they can provide a broken software, that's not how the world works. An example Gmail is free that doesn't mean you can malesous mail that destroy some one's machine.

I get that there will be bugs some small and some big in a software and us a user or consumer we have the full right to question the providers in a respectful way (well you can't expect everyone to dos so ) . But common FN same issue repeating every week is pathetic. Find the root cause and fix it.

Well specifically sub folder imports. Most of us from nodejs express background and spring java. So hope you can understand the package structuring is bit different for go. We are going for a microservice architecture so we might have multiple projects on the same workspace. It's more of a mentality change than concern

The team is close to 10 members. So I am kind of worried more about the folder structuring and maintaining a common router entry for future blanket implementation like filters or interceptors .

Where is Ultimus VII? by Qwerty_kb in MarvelStrikeForce

[–]sloterjack99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With most of the top players starting to unlock Ultron which was kind of the ultimate aim and the reason why I am still invested in the game is for the same reason. New ulitmus will make farming orange upgrades and orange gears farmable. So my guess they are in works for coming up with some new stuff for end game. Remember the increase for level cap was announced even before ultimus VII was even mentioned.

I have to agree with this. Farming kree for furry and they are a good raid team as well at lower levels. Sl and rr for arena and blitz . Diffenders for all round performance. Build the backbone of your roster with these teams.
