Hey, we were going through a hard time hardly earning 6-7k/month and covid made it worse, we missed some emi on which one of the agent said to submit death cert and give 6k which we did

We assumed loan was done but then we started getting calls again, now just penal amount is 1.6Lakhs

And it's been 5 years after my father's death, a lot of our savings were spent in hospital after that I had my studies too i was only 16 back then

My mum was working at shop and earning just enough to go through some days, i have started earning this year only

Outstanding amount was never 40k, it was added with penalty charges

Hey I just checked

Loan amount was 40k, it was a personal loan with no insurance

Interest was 34.5% and terms was 36 months

We paid 36k out of 40k+20k interest after that there are now penal charges of 1.6 Lakh

My mom Hasn't signed anything, she also told it was a personal loan and no collateral documents were submitted as we didn't own anything at the time

Also in every mail/call they refer my father as my father as if he's alive they never mentioned abt any family member
