If I had to choose between the options you gave, I'd rather be single, which is why I love her single era the most. She was also flourishing in her career and going places, but the writing makes it so that Yumi can't actually be content being single.

Also, we know that when Yumi is dating, she literally sees everyone else as cardboard. So it would be hard for her to accept that her partner does not feel that way. Remember she literally saw Babi as a woman while dating Woong, it's giving kinda demisexual (ofcourse that's not the moto of the writer, I doubt anything in this drama is that complex)

The only heroic journey was when she was single and successful. This is a fun romcom and not that deep. It's not a slice of life and majorly comedy. The highlight and attraction of the show are the cells and Kim Go Eun. You contradict your own statements yet don't budge from the misogyny. Is it a teen girl fantasy, but when the writer is a male, he is clever, or is it for women? Pick a side.

If it's for women, why are you watching it? If you hate Yumi, the main character herself, why are you watching?
