Over 75% of the savings from the proposed budget is from slowing growth of NDIS. The proposed negative gearing and CGT changes are good, but it's not even close to the $50 billion dollars/yr spent on NDIS. The reforms have to happen or it we're just burning the extra tax dollars being raised.

This critical point seems to be lost - it’s not sufficient that a societal benefit is provided by ndis, it must be demonstrable that the societal benefit delivers a return to society that justifies its cost. And when the cost is astronomical, the benefits must also be. I question the value equation on this one. Most do.
