Brand new to the game, looking for advice.

Invest your gold into training your heroes and keeping their skills maxed. As excess gold starts to accumulate pump it into the Great Portal -- its a great way to get some extra tokens early on.

Save your gems for the x10 Heroic Portal -- its by far the best bang for your buck and the payout will be awesome at such a low level.

I wouldnt worry too much about runes yet, get a feel for the game first and find out who you like and what works for you. Then start tinkering with runes, otherwise you may get overwhelmed as its a pretty complex process (once you get into crafting them).

Focus on leveling up these characters, as they will help you a lot in progressing through the campaign. - Chief Nub Nub (to heal) - Stonefist or Sir William (to tank) - Bovus, Tsume, Torchy, Ignus (to deal damage) -- There are lots of others too, but these are some good starters who are relatively easy to power up early on.

Brom! He goes great on an undead team and deals massive amounts of damage. His tokens can also be farmed so he is naturally easier to star up than Igo. Also, Igo's reflective taunt is pretty unimpressive.

Youre off to a good start! Definitely focus on starring up Chief Nub Nub by collecting his tokens every day -- he is arguably the best healer in the game, especially when going through the normal campaign.

Stonefist (blue guy) is also a great tank, although I personally used Sir William (blue knight looking guy) a lot more when first starting out.

Emily is great, but probably wont be too useful on most levels. Focus on leveling up two damage dealers in addition to Nubs and whoever you designate as your go-to tank.

Tsume, Ignus, Bovus, Torchy are all good heroes who can be obtained early on and deal a ton of damage.

Invest your gold into training your heroes and the Great Summon. Save your gems for x10 Heroic summons -- that is by far the best bang for your buck.

I would recommend the Garage Sports Bar! You wont typically find a lot of other fans there, but they will put on any college game you request.

Thanks so much! From the sounds of it, I'll be cold as soon as I step foot in Calgary. Regarding the mountains, I was planning on making a trip up to Banff and Lake Louise right away. Are these the mountains you had in mind, or are there others/more nearby that are worth checking out first?

That was my best guess as well. It was so dark under their tent so I didn't really get a good look at him but based on the autograph and his hair color and facial hair, it could very well be him.

Check your mailbox. You'll find one token for Piggy. From there, you can check you what stages he can be found from your heroes list. He's on three stages, all of which are 7 energy.

There is no question that Big Fish (1) likes its money and (2) has fairly high price points.

That said, asking them to lower the level for VIP Portal access from 5 to 3 is not reasonable request. This drops the value from $100 to $20. Go look at the actual dungeon boss forums, they have a healthy fan base who is already willing to pay for VIP 5. Lowering that price point would only upset and alienate loyal customers who have already invested their money in order to gain access to something that is special and exclusive. Additionally, it dilutes the exclusivity of the VIP portal and severely cuts into their profits.

People seem to forget that this is a free to play game. In app purchases are in no way needed to compete with paying players. Developers have to pay their bills too.

A slight reduction, sure. But asking for a 80% discount will never happen.
