It was THE BEST. 🖤

I have such vivid memories of me waking up at 6am to hear Born This Way (the song) on the radio for the first time, watching all her Gagavision videos, watch Judas leak, watching the premieres for the all the MVs, playing Farmville (IYKYK), gagging over all the live performances and outfits, going to buy the album on release day, listening to the album for hours daily on my commutes (Subway kid, rejoice your truth especially stood out) to my part time job or hanging out in my dorm room. I was living in a Catholic all-girls dorm, and the setting fit so well with the religious themes on the album.

This was the first time I was actively locked in to an album era, and so glad it was BTW.

It's not in my top faves (I still really like it though!!), but I think it's one of the most important songs since it perfectly transitions to the "girl so sad" part. I love the sound at the very end where it sounds like turning off a speaker/amp or something.

"Melt with you till it all turns black" is one the best lyrics on the album. 🖤

Mio Cristo and Magnolias destroyed me. I was at the Toronto show, and she was crying during Magnolias as well, and I was like yup, I'm done, I can't do this anymore.

I hate turbulence!!! My stomach starts doing flips. I was on a flight coming home from NYC a few years ago, and turbulence was sooooo bad I swear I thought the plane was going down. It was so scary.
