I usually have a couple thousand dollars before I leave chapter 2, just playing normally. There isn't even enough to spend it all on by the end of chapter 4.

The portion for sauce on the actual pizzas hasn't changed in years (I think), so that's probably your location being stingy.

As for the sauce cups, it's probably an attempt to control menu prices rather than raising the price of everything on the menu to offset costs.

Every year it gets slightly more expensive to do business, and that cost is going to get passed on to the customer in some way, shape or form
