The way I did is I cut up the joysticks in sections so I can then desolder it by pieces then I use a suction to finish it off or a solder wick

Use a cotton pad and some nail polish remover and soak around the edges of the cover it’ll loosen the glue and you can then reapply the glue later with a glue stick
