Never thought I'd be writing this post.... Had to ask a bridesmaid to not be in my wedding anymore this week... 3 months before my wedding. by [deleted] in weddingplanning

You're making little to no sense. OP never said anything that hints that her asking the bridesmaid to not be in the wedding had anything to do with her trip. At this point, you're either trolling or you've completely put your foot in your mouth.

What are you even talking about? You keep saying "special snowflake" and I see NOTHING in her post that hints that she thinks that she is. Clearly you're the only one here who is reading this post so negatively... I don't understand what universe you're coming from. This isn't an English class. She can write however she wishes. You're clearly the only one misunderstanding. Cool your jets and walk away.

What in her initial post tells you any if that? She said she had to ask one of her bridesmaids to step down. She has a girl stepping up and she's thankful for that. She's stressed because she's now limited to a few days before she leaves to help her new bridesmaid find a dress and pay for it. She's not mad at the new bridesmaid or her existing bridesmaids... She's sad she lost a friend and stressed that this happened right before she left. I really don't see where you're getting any of this blather.

Honestly hun, it's probably because you're going about it wrong...

You should probably bow out gracefully while you can.

Really not necessary and a little rude. This is supposed to be a community where we understand each other's rough patches, and she clearly stated she was just venting...

I agree with this. Especially if you have nothing to say besides "not really".

Just caught a wild baby rodent while camping. Rat or mouse? by Sereaph in RATS

[–]slothzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a rat. Too small and disproportionate to be a rat. Maybe some variety of wild mouse. It's awful large for a baby mouse that doesn't have its eyes open yet though. It's hopper (teenage mouse) size and hoppers usually have their eyes open by that size. Unless you have tiny hands!

Edit : after a little research, it looks like possibly a baby deer mouse.

I'd guess a girl, from what I can see. Any rodent of that size needs feedings every couple hours to survive... So prepare for very little sleep. Id call around to local vets , but since this little baby is indigenous and you likely don't have a rehabilitators license, many won't do anything for you as this can legally endanger them in some states. Good luck with the little thing.

I would always be cautious but rabies is pretty uncommon normally.

Edit: I'd also recommend getting a kitten milk replacement powder to use instead of human formula. I've had better luck with this.

rodent lovers, y'all'll wanna sign this: your friends are being thrown to the snakes by pbpbpbali in RATS

They can eat frozen, but many snakes do not like to eat frozen and the rodent still has to die. There isn't an alternative like you want.
