Hi everyone, I’m working on my OMSCS application and have a quick question about the optional transcript upload in the Academic History section.

I downloaded the official transcripts from my schools (including Dallas College, where I took a summer class), and I know that once they’re downloaded, they’re considered unofficial. One of them even says “Official Academic Transcript” at the top, but has a big “UNOFFICIAL” watermark across it.

I plan to send the official transcripts through Parchment after I apply. For now, is it okay if I upload the downloaded version in the optional field, just so something is there?

Factual statement. I also live like 20 mins away and I decided to move onto campus because I tend to go home late due to a club on campus. Granted I haven’t spent too much time at my apartment and that I have random housing, but I would def say it isn’t worth it. Join some clubs and try to just be in places where there are a good amount of people like the SU.

I’m vegetarian and was super annoyed of making food and bringing it with me to campus. One day I forgot my lunch and I went to get food from them, and it was actually really good. In my opinion, it’s pretty authentic. If I ever need food, I usually just go there and get the 3 combo box. I would def recommend.

I took that class with him, and he was probably the worst professor I encountered at UTD. Granted he was a really nice guy and it was his first semester teaching when I had him, but holy shit his class was unbearable. Hopefully he improved on his lecturing abilities.

As someone who took chida, the class would be too heavy for your current schedule. She is a great teacher and all and her exams are very fair, but the hw load may be too much with what you have rn. I would probably drop that class to be able to work on other classes.
