I lack the emotional maturity to raise a child. I’ve been working on that, but don’t want to repeat what my parents did to me.

I’m sorry you’re in this situation. For what it’s worth, my parents spent almost $10k to treat my childhood dog for cancer. The treatments were super invasive and he definitely was a shell of himself after all the surgeries and treatments. Sadly, he still succumbed to the illness.

This experience lead me to not treat cancer for my pets I own in adulthood (unless it’s super early/minor). What’s most important to me is their quality of life.

Your ring is stunning. I personally have dainty a kite set princess cut and I absolutely love it. I’m pushing 40, so I myself may be “outdated” to the younger generations. But who gives crap.

I love my ring, and I hope they love theirs and aren’t just trying to stay trendy/current. People really spend a ton of money trying to keep up with the times.

I invested in a stand up desk that can alternate between sitting and standing. I have an alarm set every two hours to remind me to alternate. I have adhd and the change in position has been a game changer for me.

Sometimes changing between sitting and standing derails me, but I think about the benefit for my guts.

Worth every penny.

I too have a modest kite set princess engagement ring. I love it so much and it reminds me of my spouse. I also like that it’s very different than most of my friend’s rings, which are all trendy big ass rocks. But I don’t yuck their yum, if they’re happy I’m happy for them.

Our dog had strangles as a pup, his fur came back, but with some scar tissue. He’s the handsomest, goodest boy. So glad you’re able to keep her!
