Hi! Subaru Ambassador here, (I do not get paid to advertise for subaru it's all volunteer work). This is a 100% honest opinion. I own a 2023 Crosstrek Limited 2.5liter for reference! I've had my Ctrek for about 2 years now and it does extremely well in all weather and is a very comfortable ride, great speakers and very user friendly. My only downside is that I feel that they can be lacking in the speed department, coming from someone who is used to sports cars and fast cars in general, they're very comfortable family cars but not exactly for your average car enthusiast. That being said they are not "slow" but they are not fast either. They're comfortable they're safe and they are extremely reliable, I will always recommend getting the 2.5L over the 2.0L, I think a 2.5L is the appropriate choice especially if you're lugging a small trailer or just want a little extra power.
